Yabai 84 is a brand new label out of Tokyo, Japan promoting fresh sounds in Drum and Bass music. Their first release bring together the forces of Need for Mirrors, Heavy1 and P Fine with two bass weighty dance floor killers.
A1_Need for Mirrors - Palace
Need for Mirrors' track, 'Palace,' consist of industrial stabs, snappy drum breaks and a stepping bass line while combining floating vocals and moving atmospheres that pull you slowly out into space.
B1_Heavy1 feat. P Fine - Thought Police
On the flip side however, Heavy1 teamed with P FIne take a slightly different approach. 'Thought Police' uses a hypnotic arpeggiated synth, sliding rhythms and dubbed out drum breaks that is glued together by long sweeps and P Fine spiting about mind control and the underlying truth in society.
