A2 White Light White Head / Dino Sabatini ...
B1 Cosmic Landscapes
close
It's now the turn of Shapednoise for 'Features Series', and to complete this ep made of pure adrenaline there's the remix of the well known Dino Sabatini (Outis Music,Sonic-Groove, Prologue). Shapednoise, one of the youngest and most promising artists of the techno scene, is based in Berlin, fully living the 'Repitch recordings' project. His musical background is really wide, and you can notice it listening to his productions, a futuristic vision of the sound, with industrial elements and synthesizers characterizing his sonority. The second act of the series starts with 'White light white head': an out of ordinary track, an unusual beat, techno futuristic, that flows into a neo-industrial sound, with soundscapes that make it mental, but at the same time a post-apocalyptic dancefloor hit. Dino Sabatini's version hypnotizes us, manipulates Shapednoise's sounds las only he can do, with his incomparable personality, rhythmics and Drone evolving until the end of a trip to the edge of reality. Cosmic landscapes (the tiltle already tells a lot), is a track with very powerful rhythmics, for the lovers of 'straight-techno'. Shapednoise, an artist to absolutely keep an eyes on this year. Also this time the artwork of Pasquale Ascione makes its part: surreal, unique, making you wondering where this faces come from, maybe from our dreams. 'Features series' is a whole of musicalities where images and imaginary interpenetrate.
Supported and played by Norman Nodge, Perc, Samuli Kemppi, Jonas Kopp, Marcel Dettmann, Adam X, Tommy Four Seven, Lucy, DVS1, Pfirter and many others!

Luis Ruiz
A1 Anunnaki Invasion / Oscar Mulero Remix
B1 Artefakts
B2 Anunnaki Invasion
close
Our label's 28th release comes courtesy of Warm Up's new addition to the family: the Argentinian Luis Ruiz is a young producer with strong roots on hardware synths and drum machines.
In 2008 he created his own label, called Analogate Rec., which is focused on the classic sounds of old school techno and acid techno. From the outset, with Analogate Rec. Luis Ruiz sought to revitalise old school techno, whose roots had got lost in time. In 2010 he set up his second label: Subsequent Rec., where techno was, once more, the centrepiece.
For his first release on Warm Up, he brings us two original tracks plus a remix by Oscar Mulero.
The EP opens with Oscar Mulero's rework of 'Anunnaki Invasion': Oscar uses a stronger drum workout with a live feel and a more European techno flavour, dark and funky at once, perfect for rocking the walls at any club worth its salt.
'Artefakts' is a raw track; dark drum programming, sub-bass galore and the added drama of the hi-pitched strings make this an hypnotic and powerful techno tool for the clubs.
'Anunnaki Invasion' is closer to the flavour of Detroit, with floating synths and drones over a shuffled techno beat, very much in the style of Jeff Mills.
A release that is complete, full of force and soul, coming from a fresh new talent. Keep an eye on this guy: he's going to rock the place.

6 months after we first ventured into vinyl territory we're back with a new EP. The follow up to Kastil's ''Dusty Edits'' is a sampler containing 4 tracks by 3 artists we are heavily supporting at the moment. The A1 is again by Basque county based 'Kastil'. She's back is a wonderful sample drenched house track containing soul touching vocals. Definitely one for the dancefloor. On the A2 we have ''Doctor Bills' by fellow Rotterdam native ''Ben La Desh'' this is actually his first release out of many to come. This track has been circulating the soundcloud for a few months and was played by OOFT! in one of his excellent podcasts. On the flip we find two tracks by Taiko Mochi name: ''Tomas Malo''. While the B1 ''Scenesters'' is a great more uptempo disco house track with quite an emotive break it's the B2 slomo track ''Shelter'' that has been stealing the show until now. If you're in to real slow and mesmerizing music this might just be the one for you.
Support by: OOFT!, The Dead Rose Music Company, Miguel Campbell, Craig Smith (6th Borough Project), Andy Ash, James Johnston, Soho808, Sleazy Beats Recordings, Zoo Look, Kirill Tipo, Fulbert, Satore.

The new Phoenix G (PG039) is an excellent deep and hypnotizing release. Relying heavily on one shot chords and thumping vintage drum machines this is one for the bag. The A1 Concequences is a real deep one with nice open hats and good places chords. A real open mix for the late / early hours. The B1 is a real vintage percussive slammer with nice one shots that together create a real oldschool vibe. The latin vocal in this track gives it a somewhat different vibe, really good for the dancefloor. The B2 is a dark peak time anthem. This will go off at any quality house evening. Hybrid Minds represent a new musical force, with their melodic, soulful Drum and Bass already making waves. A synergy between influences including trip-hip, acoustic, soul and RnB, Hybrid Minds, consisting of Sensa, Haste and Grimm, draw on a myriad of influences to produce the smooth sound they are known for.
Quadrant is best known for the Hardware release 'Manipulated Living' on the Carpe Diem LP, a track that hasn't left many DJs' crates since. Since then, their output has been slow but steady, and they have amassed a highly respected slew of appearances on Triple Vision labels Citrus and Fokuz, showcasing their equal proclivities for dancefloor impact and melodic beauty.
2011 represented a remarkable push forward for Quadrant; the volume of their output has greatly increased, but like a fine wine, the years have only sharpened their ear for quality and detail. Several new solo tunes in the pipeline, and worldwide DJ support spanning the gamut from Goldie to State of Mind, are serving to make this an exciting time for Quadrant, their music, and their loyal fans.

The Subway Destination series keep on rolling out the fine productions.. After the succesfull Benny Page release and the slamming 501 12inch its time to go state side and join forces with Antiserum in combination with the lovely Ill-Esha! For the people who dont know Antiserum should be crawling from under their rock. He has toured with the likes of Excision, Datsik, Downlink and has been a big player in the US scene for quite a while. His Rottun EP has been one of epic proportions and he continues his rampage through Destination.
Ill-Esha is also not one of the newest names in the scene, she has been known for her excellent vocal talents and her serious production skills for quite some time now and we're lucky to have her featuring on this heavyweight release.
On the A side you will find Overflow. A track that has been worked on a long time already and has been dancefloor tested numerous times. Starting off smooth and light but takes a turn for the worse when the drop kicks in. To keep it short and simple.. This is what Joker on crack sounds like.
Onwards to the B side is Lightning. This time keeping it lighter, funkier and less cracky. Antiserum & Ill-Esha show that their musical side is a force to reckoned with once again. Lightning is just one of those records you want to listen to over and over and over untill the sun goes down.

True Soul brings together two London based producers in UES and Alex Magno. Having released and remixed as individuals, the "Destination House" ep brings the two friends together with a double-header of choice house cuts. You can feel the warmth flooding from "Barbados." Elegantly deep, its simple bassline throbs like a musical heartbeat as the rasping hi-hat pierce the ever-present blanket of the single note synth.
"Destination House" comes outta the oldschool. Warm bass, crisp percussion and smooth key stabs are matched with a persuasive vocal sample and some downtown traffic to create a fresh cut that tips its hat to the past. Stepping up on the remix is young Dutch talent Tom Ruijg, who sets about polishing his own version of "Destination House" in some style. Adding a little more muscle and holding the keys till the final third, Tom rounds out the ep in style.

Autumn is inevitable, so is another 12' from Absys Records. This time it's an album sampler for the forthcoming second compilation by the name of 'Mystical Deep vol 2'. In a similar vein to the previous wax release, we've got three exceptional tracks to present to you.
The 12' opens with the absolute grandmasters of atmospheric dnb - the legendary Scottish duo under the moniker of Future Engineers. Here, their track 'Ellipse' is remixed by another top atmospheric dnb producer - the owner and founder of Offworld Recordings, LM1. His rendition of the track gave it a new, fresh dimension, but still retaining the mighty bassline and spacious pads that make you virtually surrender and submerge in the sound. A deep, though powerful track that will surely move many a dancefloors all over the world.
Next in Line is 'Fading Memory's' by Synth Sense - a duo from Kent in Great Britain, focusing in their production on deep and futuristic sounds and this track is no exception. Their work is an astounding deep and pulsating killer where the cosmic sounds take us into a completely different dimension. The whole is complemented by vocal part by MC Fava who makes the track even deeper and more tranquil.
Our feast ends with a true blow of freshness - 'New Rise' by Nuage, that is. This young artist from Russia has been present and active in Absys camp for quite some time, though he's been making music only for just under two years, but still, he's considered by many as one of the most exciting producer in the business. His newest work is full of subtle details and keeps an uplifting, melodious note to it, filled with sublime vocals echoing the words 'Just as Long as I Believe'.
But wait - there's more! To make this autumn the most beautiful season, we've also got a brilliant artwork by our valued Feebee to complement this 12'.
May the Absys be with you! More info soon!
