ASR is a record label with a strong inspiration in cosmology, physics and science fiction. With one foot in Detroit and one in Birmingham, ASR is getting the techno in its original form beyond fads. We are believers in the true conception of electronic music as artistic expression and as message.
Our first release is also the first volume of the series 'VLA', named in honor of the radio telescopes system in the 'Very Large Array' of New Mexico (USA).
Radio Transmission True to the sound of Detroit and influenced by IDM and the Birmingham scene, 'Radio Trasmission' presents a crude and analog sound, sometimes simple and sometimes twisted, synthesizing unconventional elements of the dancefloor with complex sounds and structures.
The First track, 'Grote Reber', works around the omnipresent TR909 and the classic DX100 'Solid Bass' sound, building a powerful and effective track. In 'Interferometry', a heavy and deep sub bass, leads the track around dub and post industrial ways.
'CYG X-1', is the only track that isn't 4x4, with noisy and punchy stabs all around, this works perfectly late in the night and in more uncommon sessions.
The last track, 'VLA', is more melodic and relaxed. it is the perfect end for the whole record.

Cannibald ? Do you remember something about an LP of the 90s signed by Leo Anibaldi ? Yes! it's the label of Leo Anibaldi. Until three years ago his releases were on vinyl. Then he continued in digital format until now. Now it's time to release again a special vinyl!
Luigi AcidMachine is an artist who has been behind for years very underground projects, as part of the crew also historical (see Virus-Rome in the 90s). Here comes with three tracks, powerful, intelligent, and demonstrating the evolution of his mind and his ability. In "Deroma" (in Roman slang means "I come from Rome") and "Improbable Concept" the sound is hypnotic and pure modern techno. Sounds that echoed to become pervasive and obsessive. In "Two Mojitos" he shows the origin of his name and his only love .. TB 303. The hypnotism of modern techno sound meets the pure acid until they burst into nightmares sound. The whole release is completed by the remix signed Mr. Darko Esser (Perc Trax, Curle, Wolfskull, etc..) where he gives breadth to sounds and rhythms, the progression of them creates a devastating result.

2methyl (aka 2methylBulbe1ol) is an up and coming 26 year old audio heavyweight from the East of France. At first a fan of Post-Hardcore, Grindcore and Noise Rock, his discovery of Venetian Snares and Xanopticon opened new boundaries for him to explore, resulting in his own distinctive, crushing sound. He uses music as a form of narrative, leading dance floors through intriguing cyberpunk, industrial soundscapes. 2methyl's releases to date include 2 EP's on Rotator's Ruff Recordings imprint, and another one on Komodo Dragon Records. He shared stage with Eight Frozen Module, Niveau Zero, Sinister Souls, Counterstrike, Reso, Dope D.O.D, Luke Viber, Shitmat..
With his new EP on OverClockHeadz Rec., 2methylBulbe1ol dives deeper into his approach of dubstep, a blend of metallic heaviness, mechanic pianos' dull melancholia and the humming of sub-bass reminiscing the hyper technological sounds of neuro-funk. 3 dystopian visions of an hyperspace haunted by fantasies of civilization, 3 requiems for mankind sung by orphan automatons. To complete the whole, a stripped-out version of Golem by Hecq, a mastering by Angelos Liaros (Mobthrow), splendidly-sleeved by the old accomplice Okiko.

Nasty, angry dance floor biznizz from those crazy Dutch guys! DJ Hype
Stigma has been obliterating dance floors for me all summer! DJ Friction
You wont believe your ears, simple as that. Noisia finally unleash one of the most furious, grimiest pieces of DnB thats graced raves across the globe for the most part of 2008. Those DJs lucky enough to have had a copy all say the same thing if you need to annihilate the dance draw for Stigma.
Kicking off with a lone plucked bassguitar you would be forgiven for thinking you would popped on the wrong record but then the Noisia production chirps in with a thick half-time break and ominous FX to signal the start of something big. Dropping out to a niggling technoid synth riff that worms its way out of the darkness, the kicks roll and the sickest of drops bigger than the housing slump sends you to another planet. The rising bass tone riff switching to the short stunted b-line edits is pure madness and makes sure this is a standout track in any set without fail.
Crank continues the rukus but sees the trio bringing things down a little for a more subdued but no less devastating cut. Its a heads down roller harking back to the techy Virus sounds of yesteryear with bass that will have the headz grinning from ear to ear.
DJ support from Hype, Friction, Andy C, Noisia, Sub Focus, Grooverider, Pendulum, Chase & Status and many more.

close
Noisia's uncompromising approach to dance music has never been more keenly felt. While they're turning out remixes for commercial acts such as Katy Perry and Deadmau5 that sound just as filthy as any usual Noisia production, the Dutch trio are also sticking to their D&B roots with releases on their own Vision imprint.
For Vision's latest release label bosses Noisia team up with long-term collaborators, Phace, to whip up 'Program'. As you'd expect from one of their collabs, this one is hard and heavy complete with an intense breakdown reminiscent of Wolfgang Gartner's 'Undertaker'. Winding bass notes finish the job and rib-crushing subs will have the dancefloor churning every time this drops.
Flip over and 'Regurgitate' brings you in slowly, stuffing you gently with an epic atmosphere and sultry guitar licks. Looped vocals bring you up to the drop before a trademark Noisia bassline pukes all over your best dancing shoes. If this one doesn't get people 'going sick' we don't know what will!

IMPERIAL EP
We figured it was time for some d&b again, we had a few tracks lying around for a while that we wanted to finish and put out and we had 2 collabs that went well together. We wanted to call it the 'Tryhard EP', cause all the tracks were so full on. Then Nik & Karol (khomatech.com) started on the artwork, and couldn't really come up with anything cool with that name, so we decided 'Imperial' was a better name. The artwork took about a week to make. We are very proud of this EP.
IMPERIAL
Phace came out to Groningen again, as he tends to do, to do music. We started this one without working on the main groove first, Florian had brought this awesome chord progression. We made the intro and progression from it, which is quite different musically from our normal stuff. Then we went a bit theatrical with the music, i guess we kind of suprised ourselves with the intensity of the drop. But it was refreshing to do. And it's been going down rather well in our sets..
TRYHARD
This is an older track that has had quite a few incarnations. It used to be called 'lomp', which translates to crude, or blunt. We had it lying around unfinished for a long time, and a certain youtube set rip was getting a lot of love, so we figured we'd finish it. Changed the mix, added a rollout section, etc. One of the inspriations for this track is Bad Company - 'Dogfight'.. such a sick tune.
DUSTUP
Our friends The Upbeats came down to Groningen amidst one of their Europe tours and we hung out, got in the studio, found an old unused bass riff, used it in the buildup, recorded all of us going 'HA' and 'ZU', worked on drum fills for a long time, temporarly called the tune 'Pumpers', jumped around in the studio and voila! 'Dust Up' was born.
CONTAINMENT
This track has had many faces also. It started as a bit of a Kemal tribute and and an attempt to do as many things with synths as possible, like the main drums for example (FM8). Along the way it became a journey back into the dark spacious sound of early 2000 era D&B.

For Pleasure Records shows the fourth release on vinyl . It confirms the class to propose pure dub-techno. An original track signed by Alessandro Verrina & Ander Plau (label's owners). An endless journey into the deeper atmosphere. Voices coming from far away, creating a beautiful atmosphere .. almost mystical. Absolutely rhythmic old school, where clap and hi-hat rule over everything. The remix of Roberto Bardini trasforms the track in a soft poetry, never heavy. Nikita Zabelin signing the second remix with much darker atmosphere, it's a version with a very personal view.!

Kript was born from a concept and a time of life where a precise path, and a moment of transition from one point to another, also known as evolution is shown as a concept in the creation of these label where a sound is evolving , at any moment in total freedom of expression. Ken Karter with this label is meant to represent the start of an expression which itself collects the sounds and the processing of electronic and experimental music with many influences of techno music. The tracks follow a numbering 01 / 02 / 03 / 04 numerically representing the steps related to a concept that will be detailed during the releases that comes from the study of issues and numerical programming and a passion for "hidden writing" known for years as : encryption.
Kript (Ken Karter) presents the parallel series of vinyl in 10" format, called X. Here he shows his techno influences, without ever leaving the noise.
Kript 01-X is a devastating vision of pure and explosive techno. Analog sounds and noise without mercy for those who loves to hear and not move.
Kript 02-X is a powerful blend of rhythmic breaks, industrial and iron.
.Ken Karter continues his work hidden in the darkness of a parallel world full of numbers.

Bong-Ra's new album 'Monolith' is a new step in pure hybrid electronics. Seamlessly mixing all styles with ease. Be it Metal, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and Dubstep. A musical characteristic he has gained
international praise for.
'Monolith' is divided up into two segments : 'Alpha' and 'Omega'. 'Alpha' are four Hiphop-esque colossals featuring the American rapper Sole, who has proven himself over the years with his crew and label Anticon. 'Omega' is the dancefloor orientated part of the album where Bong-Ra continues with his trademark Metalbreaks style which made him remix the likes of Bolt Thrower and even screamo legends Therapy ?
Since 1996 Bong-Ra has released 5 full length albums, and has released on labels such as DJAX. Planet Mu, Ad Noiseam, Kid 606's Tigerbeat 6, Jason Forrest's Cock Rock Disco to name a few.
The biggest success came with the 2003 album
'Bikini Bandits, Kill! Kill! Kill!' managing a full rotation with the videoclip '666MPH' on MTV.
BBC's Radio 1 DJ, John Peel, was also a big fan, inviting Bong-Ra to do a famous John Peel Session in 2001, and was asked to be part of the Peel Tribute CD 'Kats Karavan' containing Peel's 125 favourite session artists. This CD contained the likes of Bob Marley, Boomtown Rats, The Jam, PJ Harvey and Bong-Ra amongst others.
In the last decade Bong-Ra has played all the big festivals : Glastonbury, Lowlands, Fusion, Dour, Eurosonic, etc and has toured Europe, the US and Japan.
Bong-Ra is further known for being one of the pioneers of the 'Breakcore' genre. Together with artists like Venetian Snares, Shitmat and Jason Forrest they developed this unique and energetic crossbreed in the early 2000's
With Monolith Bong-Ra continues to pave the way into heavy electronics, always re-inventing and evolving himself with every album.
He recently won the Dutch 3voor12 Award (the largest Dutch music platform) for Best Musician, for his Bong-Ra and The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble projects.
