Bachelors Of Science are proud to mark the first release on their new imprint, Code Recordings.
This marks a return to the scene for the Beatport-award winning Bachelors since their departure from Horizons Music and the first of many future releases for Code Recordings.

A-Side: Beast
Up first, long time BoS collaborator Emcee Child lays down vocals for the devastating dancefloor stepper "Beast".
Emcee Child has been a long time fixture in the grime and dubstep scene, performing vocals alongside everyone from Skream, Plastician and King Tubby to Benga, Bomb Squad and Photek. Bachelors Of Science have had long standing support in the past from the likes of Grooverider, High Contrast, Basement Jaxx, SPY, Lynx and many more. With this tune BoS and Child continue the tradition by weaving together clever hooks, tough beats and unique samples to 'raise you right uppa'.
AA-Side: Morning Sun
Changing the pace for the flip-side, the Bachelors return to their liquid roots for a slice of beautiful soul with rising newcomer Smote. With releases already set for Innerground and Good Looking, Smote has long been tipped as a name to watch. On Morning Sun, their catchy piano riff is set against the stunning vocals of Maria Remos and deep bass stabs to great effect. Striking that all so essential balance between haunting ballad and club roller.
Full release scheduled for mid-end of July 2012 on both 12" vinyl and digital to follow.

Works such as 'Photek - Baltimore ( Tech Itch & Dylan Remix )' and 'The Legend' quickly were well received by all members of the drum n bass community from all parts of the world. Legendary is an understatement to describe the level of influence that Tech Itch & Dylan have had on many forms modern drum n bass.
Technical Itch has been a pioneer of heavy, dense, hard & atmospheric drum n bass from 1996. He has released on various acclaimed labels such as Moving Shadow, Renegade Hardware, Penetration Recordings, and his own world renowned Tech Itch Recordings,. There is a point to be realized about the 'freedom of religion' and how it also means 'freedom from religion' in America and various countries around the world. Tech Itch & Dylan build it up to a insane half-time menace session. The half-time business leads the listener into a dark entrapment of bass switch ups and amen fury.
