Almost 23 minutes of voyage inside the techno abyss.!
CLTD002 is the second vinyl release- the original track bares the signature of Donato Dozzy and Neel, as Voices from the Lake. 531KHz, is without a doubt, a techno track conceived for the dancefloor, but with the dark settings and mental shades that characterize and make unique the work of Donato and Neel. Very few variations, a wall of bass, and an energy that engages mind and spirit.
On the B-side, Kab and Minilogue give us a remix that is a true masterpiece, not many artists are able to deliver their own personal vision without changing the nature of the original project.

Very high quality of modern techno. One of the two remixes is signed by an artist who doesn't need any introduction: Ness. His style is unmistakable. The surprise is the other remix signed by Dark Vektor, pure electro that we don't hear much of these days.

In the fourth chapter of Shaded Records Denizo continues his journey through the maze of sounds and moods where images and textures get distorted by surrounding architecture. Ancient window of the Hermitage gives us entrance into the space of 4 stories. Edenic Dub immerses us within the atmosphere of rolling chords and melancholic melody leads further with heavy roar.
The atmosphere of melancholy and peace is invaded by dirty and massive mood, chords still roll out but they are expelled by raspy dialogues of invading spirits. Through the noise and dissolving in the atmosphere echo it is difficult to trace the message, it is still too far away. This is Invasion.
Suddenly voices are moving to our head - Inner Voice, they take all the attention and you can not get rid of them, voices push and insist - it's like a madness and insanity, which develops into a storm - Windstorm. Storm mixes and confuses things previously seemed clear and takes us away from voices and spirits, bringing the release again.
Early support from:
Milton Bradley (Do Not Resist The Beat!, Prologue): thanks Denizo, nice stuff.
Samuli Kemppi (Mote-Evolver): I like the last track 'Windstorm' a lot. Good stuff!
Unbalance (Unbalance): Perfect release from Denizo as usual, he have his own sound, Invasion is my fav
Bambounou (50Weapons): Hey man, your tracks are totally wicked
Sanys (Downfall Theory, Etiku World): all tracks are great, i put one of the tracks in my recent podcast!
Dave Miller / Abstract Division (Audiosculpture, Dynamic Reflection): I like all tracks but I think I will play the third track the most, good work!

close
Our new release is a back to back venture between Exium and Reeko. The A side
is the duo's territory. 'DragN' starts with a sharp beat that soon becomes infected
by synthesized drones moving through the stereo and bell like sounds with hypnotic
sequencing. This track means a departure from the classic Exium sound, where
lower tempos and less aggressive sounds take control.
The second track, 'Zero Summing', dives into broken rhythms and deeper
atmospheres, with drones and white noise sweeps that fight all over the
arrangement to create a claustrophobic feel.
On the B side, Reeko provides 'Electrical Phenomena'. Analogue drums start the
affair till the 808 sub kick appears, moving to the lower frequencies. Clear and
precise hats help moving the groove and high frequency sweeps, whilst resonant
textures take over the arrangement from minute 2 onwards. Noises evolve and
transform during the whole track, changing pannings and frequency.
'Emission of Electrons of a Surface' closes the release. Dark and deep drums as
cleverly programmed as ever, running on an infinite loop salted with bleeps and
microtextures that lay under the ominous rhythm.
An intelligent approach to techno from this two veterans; a slower beat and less but
nevertheless excellent ingredients to make brain activating beats for the risky clubs
from all over space.

Dynamic & Command Strange
A1 A Girl Like You
B1 A Girl Like You
close
Inform Records is very proud to announce INFORMV001, their first vinyl release. This time
Inform have added another layer to the international dimension established on their last
single with the inclusion of D&B prodigy Alexey Fuifanov; known to the world as Command
Strange.
Originally from Kazakhstan, Command Strange has developed a fearsome reputation as
an incredibly talented producer and DJ with both past and incoming releases on, among
others; V Records, Horizons Music, Good Looking, Liquid V, Fokuz, Integral, Celsius,
Antillectual Beats, Metalheadz Platinum and Nu Directions.
Command Strange is reunited on INFORMV001 with his soul brother: Dynamic. As a new
addition to the Inform stable and rising star Dynamic has rapidly carved out his own niche
in the UK liquid scene with releases on Goodlooking, Fokuz, Celsuis & Black Reflections
Records and has had DJ support from musical titans like LTJ Bukem, Bailey and Mary
Anne Hobbs to name but a few.
The A side, entitled A Girl Like You, is the more relaxed affair of the two and is plainly a
tune made with summer in mind. The track itself is built around a subtle vocal sample that
references classic soul and funk and is offset by beautiful sweeping pads and rhodes
chords that really make this track stand out. The soul groove that the intro establishes is
accentuated by a low, sweeping, analogue-sounding bassline that nicely compliments the
duo's gentle, natural drum sounds. A dazzling slice of liquid funk that carries on in Inform's
liquid vein while simultaneously setting the bar high for any artist to follow.
Luckily the following artist is none other than the one of the USA's greatest exports and a
man that needs no introduction; Random Movement. Back on remix duty again, RM's take
on A Girl Like You keeps all of the original's melodic elements and combines them with his
own signature tight production. The B side is definitely more of a dancefloor track; the
drums are a little harder, there's a catchy guitar hook that'll catch you and make you want
to move and the bassline has a ruder, more synthetic edge that's sure to cause some
damage on a system.
INFORMV001 is, at its heart, a showcase of the Inform liquid D&B sound and a solid, wellrounded
induction into the world of vinyl for a label that's looking set to achieve great
things this year. Although this is Inform Record's first vinyl release, it certainly won't be
their last.

The marvelous classic returns with a fresh breath of new life, accompanied on the flipside by a touch of softness applied to a big forthcoming unknown. As Mav's full album is looming out of the horizon more and more, here is another 'teaser', so to speak, to make you ready for the things to come. With SCI013 you can feast upon a splendid single featuring two fantastic remixes of the past and the present. Let's have a closer look at the tracks
themselves. Do you remember 2003 and Mav's groundbreaking 'Me Against the Machines' released on Fokuz LTD? It surely has swept some dancefloors across the globe, hasn't it? Well, guess what - it's back, revamped by the Hungarian expert on acid-driven basslines and twisted beats, the one-andonly Chris.SU! The remix does full justice to the original version of the track, but also enriches it with fat neurofunk vibes involving heavy bassline and sharp rolling drums to make it work effectively in today's drum & bass reality. As the past has been covered, let's move to the present. One thing you can be sure about Mav's new album is that it pays some genuine tribute to the classic atmospheric concept of d'n'b, and one of the tracks especially close to this concept is 'Skylines' - remixed here by Brazil's supertalent going by the name of Bungle; the man is capable of delivering some wonderful
softness and harmony to any kind of music he deals with and 'Skylines' is no exception to this - with heavenly pads, warm bassline, delicately stepping syncopated beats and a splash of charming melodiousness it becomes a real soulful lullaby. That said, have a sneak peek at the previews yourself and see how to skillfully combine a lesson of history with the spirit of today.

'A Sensible Alternative to Emotion' is the second full length album by the Spanish techno duo Exium. More than ten years in the business confirm them as one the fundamental combos of European techno. We have the pleasure of presenting a new step in sound design: ten tracks that show a new twist in their style, relaxing the frequencies and the tempos and departing from linear concepts. These offer a well balanced tracklist with ambient or near IDM experiments, dreamy or even melodic techno and their traditional obscure feeling.
'Dronid' is the starting point; dubby chords with endless delays, a slow BPM rate, clean analogue bleeps and subtle kicks make this track the perfect intro.
'Massless particle' follows again with a low rate speed, plucked FM sequences, delicate atmospheres, high frequency drones and tension till the full rhythm shows up in the middle of the arrangement.
'Parallel computing' is the perfect follower. Opaque filtered grooves, bright hats, subtle drones and dreamy synth melodies make this number a deep one.
'Absolute Magnitude' brings us the Exium trademark sound: obsessive, cyclical and industrial-like sequences and grooves that grow and mutate as the minutes go by.
'Biosh' keeps on beating. Sub bass workout, sweeps and digital textures: tension is the word for defining the feeling. Complex sci-fi techno.
'Dagma' acts like an interlude with its floating sub drones, digital clicks, heavy stereo pannings and synth toms that make the drums short and gothic.
'Cimmerial trail' is complex electronic music. A shuffled beat, mutated ambiences; strings and melodies fight a battle for the conquest of light and shadows. An emotional one.
'Novakron' investigates broken rhythms, call it post-dubstep, with a clever drum programming. Abstract filtered sounds and high pitched cosmic pads.
'Nucleoid' brings dance back with a return to concrete drums, multiple percussion layers, sweeps and ambiences laid over a non-stopping beat.
Finally, 'The 12th Planet' is an arpeggiated sci-fi track, with an old school flavour that reminds us of the most mental Detroit producers, such as Mills or Hood.
Ten tracks that bear witness to this duo's maturity. This is a handmade album that pays very much attention to details. With personal sound design and synthesis work.
On good old plastic circles and downloadable data formats.

A1 All Is Lost
B1 Dawn Of A Dark Day
C1 Dawn Of A Dark Day
D1 Killing The Light
close
With support from a stunning cross section of industry players - Chase & Status, Pendulum, Friction, Camo & Krooked, Loadstar, Rockwell, High Rankin, Feed Me - and a position in the top five best-selling albums of 2012 on Beatport, Black Sun Empire's 'From The Shadows' LP was one of the Dutch trio's biggest accomplishments in their fifteen year, five album history. To celebrate? They're serving up this disgustingly massive remix compendium.
Featuring some of the most exciting talents in drum & bass, each of the six remixes here offer a sizzling new slant on three of the album's biggest tracks. All armed with their own character and uncompromising dynamics, it's a challenge deciding which one to drop first..
'All Is Lost' starts the set with the perfect balance of emotional sonic star-gazing and gritty bottom-end welly. With stunning hymn-like vocals from Thomas Oliver and hype-hungry attitude from Youthstar, it's widely regarded as one of the album's boldest highlights. Naturally both Memtrix and Telekinesis have stepped up to the massive challenge.
Lifted fave Memtrix goes first. Opening with teases of the original's euphoric synths, he lets the vocals breath for one second before BANG: utter bassline sickness takes over. Complete sonic bombardment of the senses, there is no mistaking Memtrix's direction and focus for this prime-time piece of D&B naughtiness. And there's no mistaking the raw power of Telekinesis's remix, either.. Igniting with piano-primed 'lighters up' intro, we're soon pushed into the deepest end of the darkness pool with Youthstar's spitfire delivery, a gut-busting halfstep groove and a murder of distorted bass tones. Flipping to full D&B tempo midway, it's a strident party piece that will stay in your wallet or playlist from now until the 23rd century.
Next up, 'Dawn Of A Dark Day': A blazing unity of UK grime and Euro neuro, the day Black Sun Empire called up the Foreign Beggars for mic-duties was a game-changing day for the entire bass industry. Naturally both remixes pay respect to the fusion and fire of the original. Prolix takes the original's swaggering halfstep intro and adds a touch more menace on the low-end and an industrial punch to the beats before dropping into a rampant, rolling speaker-smasher. No face will be left unmelted when you drop this. We guarantee it. Meanwhile Receptor adds his own interpretation with an instant uptempo kickstart and the creative use of drama-drenched cinematic strings and devilish Slayer-level guitars.
'Killing The Light' brings us to a fitting climax with two of drum & bass most distinctive, forward-thinking acts on remix duties. Delicately dressed with the heart-melting vocals of Inne Eysermans, the raw emotion makes 'Killing The Light' the closest thing to a ballad Black Sun Empire will ever write. Paying respect to this, Icicle sharpens the kicks and snares, weaves haunting pads into the mix and takes the vocal to the darkest place imaginable. For those looking for more of a laser-snapping edge, look no further than June Miller's remix; bolstered with a gargantuan bassline and searing sonic flares, the Dutch-Anglo duo have taken the softness and depth of the original and subverted into a priceless peaktime banger that NO D&B DJ should be without this season.
