Ben La Desh drops his follow up to the very successful Midnight Rendez Vous EP from 2012. Back than this was his debut on Dirt Crew and it gave him great recognition in the Deep House scene. Since that first release he has done proper work on labels such as Sleazy Beats Black Ops, Outernational, Young Adults and most recently on the great Delusions of Grandeur with his remix for 6th Borough Project. In this 4 track EP Ben La Desh digs even deeper in his universe of moody House. Taking the tempo down and making the grooves tight and driving. The pace is set with the first track of the EP Stellar Talk that evolves around a great pumping bass line and wide atmospheric textures with hints to some Disco and even 80s sounds. The second track Whiplash is a much darker affair, for us one of the most interesting tracks Ben La Desh has produced to date.. it winds and twirls around a phased sound that places the whole mood of the track in a spacey almost sci-fi movie scenery. The third offering is the shiny Moon Swing that picks up the tempo again and is a real dance floor joint much like Stellar Talk it continues with great sampling and atmospheric Vangelis like soundscapes. The last track of this EP is the ultra slow and sexy Call Her. Absolutely the highlight for us on this great record. With its slow beat and the Hip Hop style break beat and cowbell thing going on this is a real slow burner for those lazy summer afternoons.. Chilin on a groovy Tip.

B1 I Really Wonder When We'll Meet Again
B2 Where Are We Heading
close
'Where Are We Heading' EP is a sequel to the stunning entry by Tapirus (Rotterdam's very own
Charlton), and offers greater room for the artist to roam, breathe, flex and grow.
Behind the success of 'Acid Love Story', which received notable plays by Surgeon on Rinse.FM and
Blawan at Awakenings, this follow-up effort recalls the signature elements established in the first,
while displaying a quest by the artist for refinement and progress.
In introspective fashion, the title track 'Where Are We Heading' questions the forward march by
mankind with a Mr. Fingers touch providing pause in between the war. Offering up his interpretation
on B2 is Credit 00 or Alexander Dorn out of Dresden, Germany.
Adding battle call drums and a kind of majesty, he rallies new life to the mix, pointing a way forward
in this crazy collective experience we call life.
'As I'm Going Through Suffering in Life' carries with it certain acceptance: that through pain, lasers
and adversaries, life goes on. While on the other side, 'I Really Wonder When We'll Meet Again' is the
EP's bittersweet refrain - our heartbreak hero narrating part deux of his doleful tale. The result is a vicious, acidic loop wandering through love's cruel matrix.

UK-based Adam Cummings aka Binny is back. His third appearance in our 5 years existence.
Another EP that shows his skills & deep affinity with the Detroit sound, he blew our mind again with his tremendous honest analog sound & brilliant arrangement.
Absolutely FAN-TAS-TIC!
This Four tracker contains only floor tracks full of 909 drums, brilliant patterns & groove baselines with the touch of the Juno machine.
'Explorer' will grab your attention from the beginning till the end it all. Moving hips alert!
'Terraform' is an extension of the Exploration. Yet, more funky, groove, this track will get the audience swiped of their feet in no time. Great set filler.
On the B-side, Binny takes it to a whole other level. 'Minimise' is a combination of repetitive drums with a stripped & highly mental stabbed synth that will turn people in to zombies. Killer for the floor. Up there with the big boys, if you ask us.
The more gentle & sweet melodic track 'Alpha Juno' is a great tribute to the magnificent machine by Roland.
Fits every DJ set for sure.'

Kiev based Yan Cook joins the Planet Rhythm family with a grim 12'' release containing 4 dark and heavy techno tracks.
For the A-side openingtrack, the Ukranian stalwart shows us some psychotic synth action on the afterhour anthem and title track ''Deformer''
The A2 effort ''Cubism'' continues this slice of black gold with dubby chords and uneasy machine sounds that float over the warm and pumping kickdrum that intensly serves as the backbone of this journey.
After this ''RRR" kicks in as the perfect follow up to ''Cubism''. Where the latter thrives on deep atmospheres Yan Cook changes up the sound for ''RRR"' and cleverly heads for a more rugged touch with the use of immense distortion and unusual synthesis. after this Cook takes us one on a repetitive journey with the closing down effort called ''The Edge''.

LOOSE RECORDS is proud to introduce RETROSPECTIVE - a celebration of our first thirty releases by Europe's top, underground techno artists. Coming from a broad berth of influence, RETROSPECTIVE represents the past, present, and future of European techno. Our Artists take electronic music to a new level with orchestral experimentation and their fusion of cross-genre. RETROSPECTIVE will be available on vinyl, digital, and as a collection on a double CD.
'Power' (Kalden Bess) is true to its title; this powerful song starts off with a throbbing bassline that is run through a synthesizer with a saw. The produced sound is similar to a harmonica, giving the nostalgia of the Blues. As the intro merges into the body of the piece, the intense drum track joins with vocals that serve as instruments. This versatile track will leave a tremendous impact on anyone who listens to it. It would be a perfect anthem for any large festival as well as club. Additionally, this would greatly appeal to filmmakers for action and speculative soundtracks. Videogame companies will be intrigued as well.
'Keep' (Simone Tavazzi) begins with a low bass drum that's soon joined with a synthesizer and high hat. The track is brought through a remixer and feels very circular as it builds up. A fusion of experimental noises complements a deep, echoing male vocal track. This haunting piece would appeal to a broad spectrum. It would be a great opener for any DJ's set, mellow enough to set the mood while the increasing intensity draws the listener in, preparing them for a great night out.

Fizgig, the new project of Alessio Mereu label manager of Amam , from the deepest and blackest moments to the highest emotion in a rush.
Gives us an ep for mind and soul for this new release on Wet Cellar Records , with a masterpiece remix of Eduardo De La Calle ,
all of it comes from the love between men and machines , dark and hypnotic , it developes a bouncing double bass line that breaks the atmosphere with an aggressive 808 kick.
Leaving the ep with the last track (Davy's Gray) , more charging and engaging for the club.

Planet Rhythm is gearing up for the second effort in their PRRUKBLK series. Both Moerbeck and Fanon Flowers have come up with 2 gritty peak-time anthems made out of heavy drum-action, distortion and hazardous percussion. Moerbeck's A-Side is a ferm combination of granular synthesis and vigorous drums. Where "Black Hand" recalls memories of graveyard shifts in soviet coal mines, the A2 track Mode evokes up a more tripped out state of mind.
Fanon Flowers lays down a more ominous ambiance for his B1 track that has the more than suitable title "Vultures Circling Part 3". Closing down the B side we find "Vultures Circling Part 1" which carries that same threatening vibe but with even more energy due to the use of abundant percussion.
