It consists of three tracks made by Petter B and is part of a series called 'Roots'. The a-side, 'Roots Pt I', is as ballistic track that got a simple yet addictive stab as a hook. It sound could best be described as that t-shirt you went clubbing in for 24h and that you should wash thoroughly before ever wearing again. That dirty. On the flip side you got Drummer III which, like its predecessors, is a simple yet effective tool track. Last but not least you got 'Shut Your Eyes'. Follow the titles advice and leap of into infinity and beyond with this 303/707 minimalistic soundscape voyage. A perfect end to a great night. Hoga Nord Rekords	The Psychedelic Schafferson Jetplane A1 Membrillo's Ride B1 Rugby close To understand the Psychedelic Shafferson Jetplane we have to take a trip to the late 60s and early 70s in the bands home country - Chile. There and then the growing youth culture expands their minds and their ideals of equality in rhythm with the chaotic cosmic sounds from the, then and now, acclaimed psychrockscene. In october 1970 the festival Piedra Roja, wich has been called Chiles equivalent to Woodstock, takes place. The counterculture and belief in the future are strong. But the end of an era is just around the corner. Three years later Augustus Pinochets fascist regime, with support from CIA, takes control of the country. September 1973 are known as the beginning of the time of silence. Thousands of people were murdered and tortured - among them many artists - during Pinochets 17 years in power. But during the recent years the experimental psychrockscene has begun to roar from the underground it was buried alive in. When the Psychedelic Shafferson Jetplane released their self titled, analogue recorded, debut 2010 it became painfully obvious that the band are among the key-players on that scene. The record sold out faster then Pinochets fascist heart stopped beating after his attack 2006. And that's just one, among many, reasons to why we at Hoga Nord Rekords feel extraordinary proud to release two new psychtunes from TPSJ! A-side takes off with a linear psych-blues vibe until the riffs pleasantly starts to cut and stimulate our eardrums frantically: Membrillo's ride is the sound of ZZ Top on the run on choppers after a drunken shopliftningbender on the wrong side of town. Hoga Nord Rekords	Dungeon Acid A1 Northern Acid B1 All-Nighter close Born to Trinidadian and Finnish parents in Sweden, Jean-Louis Huhta took an early interest in percussion Punk, African, Disco, Dub, Detroit Techno and Chicago Acid were all early sonic influences. Couple these genres with an interest in percussion, drums, synthesizers and skateboarding and you are half-way into describing the sound of Dungeon Acid. His music career began in the early 80's, where he performed in bands such as Cortex, Anti-Cimex, Texas Instruments, Stone Funkers and Lucky People Center. The 1990's saw Dungeon Acid start to dj hiphop in his hometown of Gothenburg, he later moved to Stockholm, where he still lives today. These early years were also witness to his first multimedia live performances with Lucky People Center. Soon after Dungeon Acid started producing Techno and releasing on respected labels such as Hybrid and Svec, other formative projects include live machine Techno and dub jams with Simon j Hartley as Wildplanet and Brommage Dub together with Jesper Dahlback, a techno outfit that has and continues to garner huge respect. Never one to sit still, his current projects and collaborations include OCSID with Edward Graham Lewis and Carl Michael Von Hausswolff and The Skull Defekts: a punk outfit that releases on Chicago label Thrill Jockey Records, alongside this Dungeon Acid has also composed music for many Swedish directors of contemporary dance, film and theater. In 2012 he started HUHTA HOME STUDIO through Fit Distribution and has recently released on iDeal recordings, ISL-recordings, Zodiac 44 and Fit Sound. Recently he has enjoyed a thorough tour and production schedule, touring worldwide with his various projects and remixing the likes of Axel Boman and Patrick Richard Hoga Nord are honoured to release two new acidbenders from Dungeon Acid.
