20 year old Sheffield based producer Jack Chapman AKA Lloyd SB spans multiple genres, moods and BPMs on 'Boida Flare', his debut EP via London collective Nervous Horizon.
"The release contains tracks I made within the last couple of months to almost two years ago. It feels good to see these tracks side by side on the same release as you can see how I've developed my sound over time and experimented with different tempos. I came up with the name for 'Boida Flare' after watching a Boi-1da interview on YouTube where he spoke about artists having their own individual flair. It's more of a name I gave for the palette of sounds I've made, similar to a collective noun. But then I adapted the spelling to link in the Wiley vocals before the drop 'I light up the dance'...'I told you before I'm a top boy'."
After early support from Murlo, Slackk, Scratcha DVA and Plastician, his first track 'X-Out' was released on the very respected Boxed001 compilation. He joins the Nervous Horizon crew after signing '3 x 23' to their Vol 1 compilation last summer. He recently played the Nervous Horizon Boiler Room session curated by Sound Pellegrino's Teki Latex, another big supporter of his music.
With the title track seeing early support by Kode 9 on BBC Radio 1, the EP features a multitude of productions with influences ranging from grime to techno, a collaboration with Wallwork, 'The Portal', and a percussive remix of 'Pirate Bay' by TSVI.
As FACT Magazine called for when they named him in their 10 Grime Producers to Watch in 2016 - "Surely now's the time for a full EP?"

The sixth release to grace vinyl from Encrypted Audio features Helktram (Yasuaki Shimabukuro).
Yasuaki joined Encrypted along with Japanese exports DayZero and London based Samba.
Yasuaki mixes his love of bass with a wide variety of BPM's and this release showcases his versatility. Rain Skin / Knocking take his love of catchy chime hooks that will have any dubstep elitist moving. Mind Oz takes us on 150bpm venture in the mind of Oz. A warped trip of bass goodness for the soul.
With scene support & shows all across Japan as well as Goth Trad's infamous BTC (Back To Chill)

Trevino is Marcus Intalex. He is widely known for making underground drum and bass. In 2011 he started the Trevino alias to feed his desire to get back to his roots and rekindle his 4 to the floor spirit. He was originally a house and techno dj learning his trade in the late eighties/early nineties. He was a regular hacienda punter, a huge fan of the belleville 3 and a keen late night reveller travelling throughout the UK to clubs and raves way before drum and bass even thought of. He worked his way up in the 90's via working in records shops, djing in clubs and radio, promoting events and producing some significant dnb 12's. From the end of the 90's marcus has been in high demand flying around the world peddling his love for deep drum and bass. He still does this but he now also splits his dj calendar with his other alias Trevino and his love for all things 4/4. Well most things, certainly not gabba or hard house or gospel house or scouse house or anything too happy or too cheesy or too slow or too fast or too hard or too soft...sorry i digress.

Known for his 140 BPM productions heavily influenced by reggae, King Yoof continues to release music with soul; encompassing all different styles that make up sound system culture. Born and bred in Lewisham, the English producer encountered the local sound system Saxon Sounds, which played dub music that struck him by heart. He then devoted all his time in learning how to make music through imagination, which quickly led to respected releases on labels like Sub Slayers, Dub Police (remix for Caspa) and Big Dadda Records (remix for Congo Natty). Yoof's 'Homage To The King' LP is a strictly dub album that has been in the works for years. As it was never meant for release, experimenting and recording bands led to an archive of dub samples that needed a necessary dub treatment. It quickly became part of the producer's lifetime passion project, allowing him to delve into the music that hits his soul indefinitely. Each of the centrepieces have been sampled, reworked and pushed to their limits to let loose King Yoof's personal and psychedelic visions. This collectively forms a sophisticated dub album that salutes all past masters of dub - and even includes a tribute to the old 'Sleng Teng' hit by the legendary Wayne Smith. Every single production is characterised by vibrant basslines, a clean sound and authentic dub attitude. This makes listening to them a very comfortable experience for anyone familiar and unfamiliar with our Moonshine music catalogue. Every tempo is treated in 'Homage To The King' LP, going down a common path of dread and brightness: Class-A dub music from London, UK. With King Yoof and acclaimed appearances by I-Lodica, Earl 16, MC Spee and Raggs, the Moonshine family tree is growing from the roots up. With another LP full of dub-flavoured music, 2016 is turning out to be another highlight year for us. Make sure to gear up for the summer, as more Moonshine material is about to surface!

Mixing abstract hip-hop and house, Blutch's style is mind-blowing and striking, with touches of groove and heat. Borrowing from Pepe Bradock, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Cuthead, Andres, Shigeto and Massive Attack, Blutch has forged a unique musical identity all along his career, always with this strong desire to combine several universes into a single entity.
In January 2015 Blutch revealed his creative genius with his first EP, Equilibrium. He will soon revisit a voluptuous set mixing trip hop, the softness of electronica and a hypnotic deephouse. [r]equilibrium unites 9 artists in one project that represents Blutch' diverse musical spectre.
Friends, idols, people who we loved to collaborate with, spend time with, get to know better. The [r] stands for the remix, the reinterpretation of Blutch' EP Equilibrium. Each artist gives new life to one of the tracks, spicing them up to their liking. Cutheadtransforms "Skyview" in a straight-up house floor killer while Maxime Dangles takes "Chocolates & Hamburgers" to gloomy, cold electronic heights. Between these two extremes the music gradually and cleverly evolves track by track. Melodiesinfonieopens up in complete serenity with his take on "A." which takes us straight into summer with our feet in the sand. Tito Wun follows up perfectly with his version of "Wildstar" that is stacked with groovy samples. Next up is Keroue, member of the band Fixpensill. He puts his rhymes on a stellar edit by YWNWA. Jenovah choses to take "Deep Diving" on a bass-driven path while Pavane sees and raises that with an orchestral version of Anyoma. It's up to the brothers Ark & Pit Spector to close out the EP by taking "Elis" into deeper territory.
The tracks subtly follow each other up to tell a consecutive story. Thanks to the music of Blutch, these 8 tracks stay connected on this diverse but coherent EP. Driven by our sense of partying and our willingness to meet the people we have been sharing our music with over more than a year, we decided to throw 4 release parties, hosting Cuthead, Pit Spector, Tito Wun and Jenovah, who we hadn't met before. Sold out nights, balloons, jokes, fun and groove. Really proud of the project in general, the artists' work and our flawless casting. The project has forged bonds between artists that wanted to continue their collaborations, Blutch and Cuthead will now even be playing back2back at Festival Astropolis July 2nd .

Allow us to introduce you to Moniker, proper London underground techno heads often found DJing at those ridiculous Sunday raves that have been making a resurgence in the capital lately.
Having been seduced by the depth, quality and nuances they inject into their underground house & techno creations, we selected 3 of their productions for their debut release, each intended to showcase different aspects of their work.
A1 track 'Coma Berenices' has an evolving almost overwhelming build up that leaves you hanging on a cliff-edge during a swirling breakdown before plunging the dancefloor smack back down in the heart of heads-down technoland. This totally deserves to be played and experienced on a club soundsystem and having tested this hypnotic track out in our own sets we are fully confident in its dancefloor potency.
AA1 cut Oms kicks off the 2 nd side with a purposeful low-slung acid groove before high synth-pads gradually appear and ascend upward and upward. Delicate melodic touches and splashes of sonic colour are introduced to leave the dancer in an altogether different place than where they started.
The AA2 track Phaze Jam finishes off the ep with an engrossing take on the less is more approach. Powerful dub sheathed chords shatter like shards of ice atop a bulky kick and frazzled hats. After a brief breakdown's respite the rhythms get more rugged thereby cementing the deal that this is a high grade granite techno tool.
