TRICITI is an 11 track album exploring generatively structured, morphing arrangements of skewed, experimental beats. Ocurob aesthetics rooted in the culture of breaking electro and battle breaks records. Looking to the past inspirations of Death Comet Crew, Bill Laswell and origins of graffiti culture, the album uses cold production techniques to blend these influences with modern prism of juke/footwork, high-tempo jitters and thunderball strikes in a unique and decisively ANWO style. Heavy low-end power static meets scattered polyrhythms, and brief moments of respite are compounded with fresh jolts of soundsystem tension at every given turn. The album is sequenced with this in mind, a juxtaposition of tempos and sparse, structured arrangements intertwining with the chaotic. Expansive sound design concerned with detailed spatial specifics in the mixing process give a razor sharp and contemporary sound to Flaty's production, tracks like 'Imuni3' building on a processed breakbeat cuts or the eerie background ambience of 'M4' blending with low-slung cosmic funk that sounds beamed future.
