From the brain of Enemy Records recording artist Decimal comes a new series of releases that attempts to redefine technos ability to manipulate an audience. In the Impulse Control series, Decimal will explore ways to control an audiences feelings and movements with sounds. The first release of the series, Impulse Control 1, showcases some of Decimals most evocative and melodically complex work to date. On the A side, Egyptian Eye emanates a dark and forceful aesthetic driven by a moody and mysterious melody. This rhythmically sparse, highly emotional track is an attention grabbing piece that would make an unexpected addition to any DJs collection with its lazy snares and twisted synths. On the flip, Obscuro starts slow and builds into a series of shifting peaks of physical and emotional climax. Decimals arrangement steadily crescendos with layers upon layers of diminished harmonics and syncopation to create a perfect peaktime floorfiller.
