O [Phase] presents Toru Katsuta - "Phenomena" EP for the third release on his Modwerks imprint.

"I first encountered Toru upon exiting a Tokyo DJ booth one evening. He was waiting patiently to pass me a CD of his work along with a polite, hand-written note. The tracks had a uniqueness and an appealing futuristic feel, and thus a few of them became regular fixtures in my DJ sets" - O [Phase]

It was through this initial exposure that Japanese native Toru Katsuta came also to the attention of Charlie M Duff (AKA Matrixxman) and his music gained further broadcasting

(featuring in various podcasts and DJ performances). This eventually lead to an invitation in 2021 to remix for the also up-and-coming Alarico on Matrixxman's The Grid label.

4 dance floor cuts bookended by 2 sci-fi excursions, "Phenomena" EP represents a long overdue showcase of Mr Katsuta's futuristic sound.
