First up is Smoke Signal, and right from the off you know its a no-nonsense affair with militant marching drums and livid swells of buzzing static. This tunes all about the drop though, and what a drop it is! The unadulterated bassbin mayhem is unleashed with little more than a muttered warning, with pounding 808 subs worrying your speakers while the paranoiac FX set your nerves jangling. On the flip, Strategy takes a cue from rising dubstep star Martyn, mixing tight post-UKG beats with thick textured pads and deep, bluesy sax licks.
