Stripped of retro's pretensions, neither resolutely analogue nor obv iously digital, "La Forca del Destino" is
classic without being throwback, simply a selection of groov es that, one suspects, hav e been rolling along
f orev er, quietly circulating through a univ erse of circuitry , midwif ed by nimble f ingers turning knobs, but
otherwise almost autonomous - self -winding rhy thmic miniatures, perf ect little closed sy stems that do their
thing without ev en being asked. Ev ery B-mov ie f an knows that "Soy lent Green is people". But this is no
cannibalization. It's too idiosyncratic for that. It's acid without being "acid", minimal without being "minimal".
