Soul Rebel Recordings is a new vinyl/digital label created by Marco (Fokuz,
Celsius, Influenza) and Scott Allen (Soul Deep Recordings) to emphasize the brilliant
combination of Drum & Bass and Reggae music genres. When they are united, they
have a way of creating a deep, moody, and sometimes fun and uplifting listening
experience. The first vinyl release from the Soul Rebel Recordings camp brings you
a little slice of fun & playful Reggae inspired Drum & Bass, as well as a deep, driving
anthem.

The A-Side, written by Mutt & Tedder, is a bouncy, floor-filling anthem that
will surely make it's way into the record crates of reggae/D&B fans everywhere.
The track features classic shuffling breaks, an authentic sounding bassline, dubbed
out sound fx, spirited organ riffs, and tasteful Reggae samples. Deeper Connection
and Scott Allen offer up the second track from the release. 'River Jordan', takes a
deeper approach to the interpretation of blending D&B & Reggae music. The song
uses a classic roots reggae sample and blends it with a deep sub bassline, heavy
amen drums, rollin' percussion loops, and filtered guitar chops. One of the many
highlights of the song is the, 'Blood's Gonna Run', vocal that chimes in throughout
the track, giving the track an intense vibe.
