The bromance between the Kyiv vinyl label Artreform and the Odesa electronic music scene is blossoming ever stronger as years go by. Rayo's new release excellently proves this point. The Southern Ukrainian talented producer presents a distinctive and eclectic 4-track release, showcasing different angles to his sound.

The opener, "I Stay Here", is a dreamy futuristic deep tech for cloudy seaside days. Enveloping pads, a wonky rhythm section, and glowing melodies are reflected in the soundscape like the sun's glare on the water.

"Moot Shmoot" is memorable thanks to its persistently running forward, deeply filtered melody, and the light flair of early progressive house.

The closer, "Kohae Svoju Drujinu", astonishes with its new beat, groove and spoken word about true love and faithfulness to an Aphex Twin-influenced ambient sound flow underneath, a bold move towards conceptual electronica.

A remix by Canadian heavyweight Mike Shannon deserves special attention. His style is instantly recognizable thanks to a leftfield groove, many FX, and subtle nuances. Mike transforms Rayo's original into a sophisticated tech build that discerning audiophiles will love.
