After releasing tremendous EPs for labels like Terra Null or Modern Ruin we are happy to announce a four tracker by london based producer Noh Vae on Through These Eyes. Being a broadcast assistant at the infamous Rinse FM station really shaped his own sound which lies somewhere between Hip Hop, Dub and Jungle. It's hard to find someone operating in this niche so talented and unique, so we had to sign Noh Vae for a full EP! The A side already hits you with big and bad rave horns and a hard hitting halfstep beat which Noh Vae combined all in the right ''flow''. Spiced up breaks and flickering drum patterns complement the tune in perfect dancefloor style.
''Shaka'' earned the name not in vain! A dubby atmosphere is accompanied by angry bass stabs and a soundsystem shaking bass. Again it shows Noh Vae's perfect ability to match all his influences in one nasty track. The B side opens with a remix of Shaka by belgian dub wizard Digid. We are so glad that he is making a return to Through These Eyes because it were his tunes that started the label at all! He turned the original in a grimey 160 bpm monster with a lot of focus on the bass and melody. ''Double Standards'' finishes the release off with a mysterious vocal sample chopped over some moody 808 kicks and the right spirit of experimentalism.
