Building upon his album Suicide Beauty Spot which came out at the end of 2009, this E.P. shows him working the dancefloor again in his characteristic style:4 tracks of off-kilter yet solidly groovy tracks that cheerfully and confidently disregard the boundaries of dubstep, garage, 2 step and broken 4/4 riddims
The EP kicks off with the confident, hip-swivelling 2 step of Burgendy, an expertly crafted garage track infused with his characteristic playful bittersweet melodies.
Industrial Revulsion pushes things into a more broken, swung 4/4 techno version (what some call "funky") laced with glitchy electronic edits. Side B starts with Minerals, a prowling, deep dubstep track that surfaced on the album and has been championed by Sub FM DJs, now available on vinyl. The EP closes off with Misspent Youth, another broken 4/4 track of rolling tech beats and flexing, growling basslines
