Rob Smith aka RSD is a man that should need no introduction - from pioneering trip hop and the foundations of the Bristol sound in the late 80s with Smith & Mighty to writing some of the biggest dubstep tracks of all time under his RSD alias - not to mention killing it to this day with his impeccable DJ sets and fire dubplates - Rob is nothing short of a certified legend. It is a great honour to welcome the man himself to Foundation Audio with 2 classic cuts for the next in our 10" series. A- side "Dr Woh" is a heavy stepper version of the Dr Who theme tune originally written for a Redbull soundclash with subloaded in 2014 as a friendly lighthearted sound clash style dis to a certain Bristol producer whose dad played one of the doctors.
On the flip side we have "Look" a 2019 production produced in a friends studio in the Philippines. RSDs unmistakable trademark sound is stamped firmly all over this one - rolling drum breaks, big basslines and catchy synth hooks all work in perfect harmony while staying truly dubwise throughout.
