In just a handful of releases, Giles Smith and Martin Dawson's Two Armadillo's project has become synonymous with quality house. A ten minute exercise in subtle, restrained deep house with true emotion, 'Patience' uses overlaid strings and synths, uncluttered percussion and warm pianos to tell a story which can only end in a sense of well being and the onset of summer. This really is a special piece of music. Saul and Cooper have stamped their own style on the track by toughening the drums, teasing the melodies and adding their own inimitable electronic flourishes to their mix.
