Miles away from Skrillex and his brostep machine, IM:Ltd have once again scoped
out something emerging from the Wastelands. Hailing from Montpellier, the name is
Kuantum.
Using video game quotes and bass frequencies lower than Taylor Swift's underwear,
'Wasteland', the title track - along with 'Innervision' - is a violent reminder of how
we think dubstep is supposed to sound.
Filled with an tasty blend of dubby basses, dried out breaks and urban decay
landscapes, 'Distracted' (with fellow producer Mateba) and 'Majora'complete the
flip, making this whole release is a definitive must-have for any serious 140bpm
head.
