Mike's "Die Trying" is an unusual techno-mix at 115 bpm, it has hip-hop oriented sounds used as a rave-signal with a hint of an 80's charm. "Die Trying" original and HLX's Dub come out right at you and impact on the dance floor is guaranteed!
Mike Gates has been producing music since 1995, he works together with various hip-hop and techno artists and has had a few 12" releases on labels like DJ Slip's label Creation Rebel. Today Mike lives in Schenectady, NY and continues to pursue his art and around him is a great community of artists, friends and family. Mike's attitude to life is to learn and try out new things, about how to live and do well by his fellow men.
