In 1992 Aphrodite had already enjoyed chart success via his group Urban Shakedown. Rave was progressing quickly into Hardcore and Aphrodite wanted to stay on top of the pile by cranking out the releases. He was constantly touring and could see first-hand how the music was evolving and to keep one step ahead of the curve he needed to create a fresh output for his music. Aphrodite Recordings came together in 1992 and the debut release was "Raw Motion/Dub Motion". A sought after release within the secondhand collectors market, Aphrodite has teamed up with Vinyl Fanatiks to make it available again on a repress. The sound of 1992 never sounded so good!
