Rubik Records presents the sampler for the forthcoming 'Minimalized' album by Japan's Heavy1. After making a name for himself internationally with his expert production and powerful songs, we felt the time was right for a larger project. The A side 'Judge' is a collaboration with June Miller, a tough dark techno meets dnb rhythm that has been receiving heavyweight dj support from all of the big djs. The flip 'Light Upon My Road' provides a more musical excursion featuring the vocals of Iriann Joyce, and shows Heavy1's versatility and strength as a musician.
