Serum vs. Northern Lights - Dangerous / Rush

Recording info

Serum has been making big waves in recent months releases on Creative Source and Dread Recordings as well as remixes of jungle anthems like Papa Lover by DJ Stretch have seen his productions at the front of many DJs boxes. The diversity in his production has meant that his tracks has gained support from all corners of the scene, and so whether hes bringing the jungle vibes back into D&B, getting technical with his beats, or going straight from the dancefloor, the result is the same every time guaranteed satisfaction. They say two heads are better than one, if you team this bright talent up with two of the North of Englands finest DJ/Producers Northern Lights (aka Steppa and Kitcha) you know it spells trouble. Northern Lights are making a real name for themselves at the minute, and its not hard to see why D&B bibles ATMOSPHERE and K Mag are backing their skills right now. Dangerous is exactly as its title suggests... a dangerous piece of dancefloor mayhem. The result of this collaboration are very big indeed, in fact so big repeat plays on the Fabio & Grooverider show and the huge stamp of approval being Fabios rewind track mean this is a release to sit up and take notice of. Rush starts off with dreamy harp sounding intro, through which some filtered beats gradually emerge. Building up to a stretched growling bassline which will definitely have people rushing on the dancefloor.
